The potential of the impact that teachers, leaders, and members of communities revolving around early childhood education is unparalleled, relative to any other time in a person’s life. During the early childhood years, both children and parents are in a vulnerable state of rapid development- and the decisions they make in the first few years can determine the where they spend their resources (time, money, etc.), what they choose to prioritize, how they spend their time, and with whom they will spend it. This session will equip participants with contemporary research, insights gleaned from the field, suggestions for follow-up resources, and a refreshed perspective to inform the ways that they approach efforts related to engaging families with young children in Jewish community.
